What we collect

When you make an account: your name, email address and password (stored scrambled, never readable by us). If you add them, your phone number, home address, birthday and a profile photo.

When you book and pay: the classes, privates and workshops you book, whether you came, and what you bought. If you were a client before the studio moved to this system in October 2026, your class and purchase history from Mindbody was carried over so your packs and history stayed with you.

Card and bank details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store the full number; the studio sees only the type and the last four digits so you can tell your cards apart.

When you write to us: what you put in the contact form, a comment on a Notes edition, or a request to join the newsletter.

When something breaks: a short error report with the page you were on, your browser and your screen size, so we can fix it. It does not include your name or payment details.

What we do not do

There are no advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and no tracking cookies. Your browser keeps a small amount of information on your own device (local storage) so you stay signed in and the site remembers a few display choices. Signing out clears your sign-in.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Why we use it

To run your bookings and your account: holding your spot, taking payment, emailing receipts and news about your bookings (a class moved or cancelled, a spot opening up from a waitlist), and answering your messages. The studio’s instructors see the names on the classes they teach.

To send Mari’s newsletter, only if you asked for it. Every edition has an unsubscribe link.

Who helps us run it

A few companies process information on the studio’s behalf, only to provide their service: Stripe (payments), Resend (sending email), Mailchimp (the newsletter), and the companies that host the site and its database (Vercel and Neon). The booking system itself, StudioOS, is built and looked after by Fishtown Development, who can see account data only to keep the system running.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are a client, and afterwards for as long as the studio needs records of bookings and payments for its accounts and taxes. Ask us and we will delete what we do not need to keep.

Your choices

You can see and change your details on your account page at any time. To get a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, email us and we will reply within a few days.

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
